One-Pot Chicken ala King

Sometimes it may feel daunting to cook a dish like this, especially if this is your first. Of course, you want to get it right, and who would want otherwise? As a homecook, I get it. And it is for the same reason I am here to tell you – – you got this!

Cooking this one-pot chicken ala king is straightforward, and you can be confident that you have easy access to all the ingredients; while some are already in your pantry.

How do you make it simple and easy?

  • Use cooked chicken (boiled or poached, baked, rotisserie, etc).
  • It is a one-pot dish; no need to cook the chicken and the sauce separately.
  • Use roasted red peppers in a jar/bottle as a substitute for pimentos.
  • Leave the alcohol out.

It may not seem a big deal but the slight adjustments offer ease and make the cooking process a breeze.
